The frame of these glasses was created without the use of screws. Instead, the arms of the frame are attached to two spring steel strips, locking the lenses inside the metal frame. The frame rests on a slot in the lenses. The two strips simultaneously lock the lenses into the frame, using pressure and also creating a hinge, enabling the arms of the glasses to fold.
